Jean may have been destined to become a patent attorney – one of her grandfathers was an engineer who helped build the Mackinac Bridge, and her other grandfather was a U.S. bankruptcy judge. She enjoys applying her mechanical engineering background and her knowledge of intellectual property law to help Quinn IP Law clients successfully navigate the patent preparation and prosecution process. Focusing on the client’s goals, Jean strives to determine the most effective strategy to protect and reward their innovation both domestically and globally.
The enthusiasm of the inventive mind is always apparent in Jean’s clients, which range from solo inventors to large corporations. This enthusiasm inspires Jean’s relentless perseverance in working to add value to a client’s business. Whether it is drilling down into the details of a new invention to best present its unique attributes, or reviewing an entire patent portfolio in a particular technology, Jean is committed to providing the best strategic advice in a timely and cost-effective manner.
