Ellen M. Schwab

Ellen M. Schwab

Ellen’s chemical engineering and logistics experience and knack for details make her an effective and accomplished attorney and engineer. A self-described “proud geek” and technology enthusiast, Ellen is at her best when she is helping fellow inventors turn their visions into reality. While her first patent application was for a hubcap, Ellen knows that her work in intellectual property plays a vital role in bringing the most technologically-advanced and world-changing products to the market.

Ellen is driven by the human aspect of her career – from sharing a fellow inventor’s excitement about his creation to patenting a product that will streamline processes and improve lives. The passion behind her work, however, is a desire to use her talents and education to help others reach their goals. Ellen strives to be an educator, innovator, and strong advocate for each Quinn IP Law client as she guides them toward an ideal legal strategy.

What draws me to Intellectual Property Law is that it’s centered around building up and creating, rather than tearing apart or dismantling something (as other law specialties often do). We are building something great just like our clients are, and that common ground leads to authentic and inspiring partnerships.
