His practical insight is informed by hands-on engineering experience and a strong foundation in electrical engineering and supply chain management.
Despite the complexity and nuances of patent law, I find it absolutely intriguing. After taking my first course in the subject, I knew I wanted to become a patent attorney.
Albert began his legal career as a law clerk at boutique IP firms, gaining early exposure to both mechanical and biotech innovations. He later worked at international IP law firms in Texas and Michigan before joining Quinn IP Law. Prior to law school, he worked as an engineer at DTE Energy and Alcoa, giving him valuable industry perspective that continues to inform his legal practice.
Albert earned his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law, where he was active in the Intellectual Property Law Group and Patent Law Clinic. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, with a concentration in Business and Supply Chain Management.
