Vincent B. Re

Vincent Re has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has 15 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, covering a wide variety of technical fields, including mechanical devices, software and computerized processes, chemical applications including substantial work in batteries and fuel cells, automotive and aerospace applications, controls, autonomous driving, hybrid and electric vehicles, HVAC, engine design, computer hardware, medical devices, sporting and hunting equipment, and military systems.

Vince was an automotive engineer with a Tier 1 supplier for 6 years prior to law school, where he worked in the area of automotive HVAC design and manufacturing. Vince recently served as co-chairman of the Washtenaw County Bar Association, Intellectual Property Section.

Vince has diverse legal experience with a wide range of clients, including corporations, small businesses, and inventors with great ideas. He opened and operated a solo patent firm in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for seven years; a project which broadened his legal know-how and continues to give him a strong appreciation for patent work from the client’s perspective.
